What we usually find
These are the usual reasons a fridge never gets a rest.
Dusty condenser coils
The coils at the back or underneath get rid of heat. Covered in dust and pet hair, they cannot. We clean them properly.
A worn door seal
Warm air leaks in all day, so the fridge never catches up. We replace the seal.
The condenser fan has stopped
Without the fan, heat builds up underneath the fridge. We replace the fan.
The room is too hot
Fridges have a room temperature rating. In a hot garage or tight cupboard, some cannot keep up. We check and advise.
Low gas
A fridge low on gas runs longer and longer. We tell you what it needs and the price.

We find the fault
The technician tests the fridge at your home and tells you what is wrong in plain words.
You approve the price
You get the full price before we start. If it is not worth fixing, we tell you.
We fix it
Most repairs are done on the spot with parts from the van. Our work has a 12 month warranty.
Before you call
- Leave a gap of a few centimetres behind and above the fridge for air.
- Check the door seal by closing the door on a sheet of paper. If it slides out easily, the seal is worn.
Anything past these checks is a job for us. Please do not take off back panels, touch the gas pipes or pull out wiring. Fridges have high voltage parts and a sealed gas system, and a wrong move can turn a simple repair into a new fridge.
